After a career in sales and sales management, Bob founded RCG Workgroup in 2016 to address a training gap that is prevalent in the workplace. Where there are a myriad of trainers advocating various sales methodologies, Bob realized that those methodologies were all built on an assumption that salespeople already possessed sufficient foundational sales skills. From his experience, that has frequently proven to not be the case.
Many salespeople struggle with managing their sales days and keeping current on industry best practices. Typically, new salespeople have never properly learned fundamental sales skills and veteran salespeople, who may be knowledgeable in sales fundamentals are routinely employing sales methods that are ten to fifteen years out of date.
In response, Bob launched RCG to fill the void. RCG delivers foundational sales training that is relevant to both the new hire and the experienced veteran alike. Further, RCG’s customized and agnostic approach can incorporate whatever additional sales methodology a client company may currently be using.
